Britney, you are on my radar. [Sep. 8th, 2008|02:31 am]
[Current Mood |content]

The start of the new school term was hectic due to constant changes to the schedule and one problematic elective but it's all good now, although I had to pay more money on top of thousands of dollars.

Livejournal's been difficult lately, and thus the lack of new entries.

I feel the need to take up a sport, my latest attempt at losing weight was hypnosis and evidently, that didn't work out but the inevitable question now is, "what sport?" and finding an answer to that question may take a while due to my lack of knowledge of sports.

VMAs 08, Britney Spears. Will she perform and make her anticipated comeback or not? That debate is impossible to follow but if she does perform and headline the show, I swear I will orgasm.

My life is complete once again with the return of Gossip Girl, The Hills and of course, the interminable shopping.

My recent purchase was this adorable shoes from Zara and it acts as a treat from myself to myself for clearing my previous term.

Alright, I shall leave you with pictures of sexy ass and myself from one of our many shopping trips.

She just makes me want to drop the sinful donut and jog,

ciao.

Imaginary you and me. [Aug. 21st, 2008|01:14 am]

Don't worry, I'm still alive. I hope no one filed a missing person report. The primary reason my posting has been so sporadic is that I ve been out of town alot lately and when I do get on the internet, I feel obligated to respond to emails first and then check the mandatory celebrity websites. I need my Britney fix!

Anyway, the term break has been good so far. I have a lot of different stories to tell, and the main objective of this post is to update you on my past two and a half weeks.

The above picture was what I woke up to when I was in Desaru for my vacation. I love the idea of being a minute away from the beach and my all time favourite; room service.

My extended family was there as well and our time in Desaru was spent sleeping in, going to the gym, watching crappy chinese horror movies, bicycle riding, pillow fights, quick swim in the pool and of course, going to the beach.

As you can see, I love roaming around the hotel grounds in my boxer shorts.

Enjoying the waves a.k.a trying to get sand out of my arse

We completely lost our minds one night and thought that it would be a swell idea to spend the night at the beach. We created an illegal fire (this took forever and i burnt my fingers twice), lay on makeshift beds made of sand and watched the stars dance above us. Seriously though, I have never seen so many stars before.

I witnessed my first ever shooting star and by the time I decided on a wish, the moment wasn't there anymore!

We gave up lying on the cold sand at around six in the morning and with sand in our undies, we slowly retreat back to our respective comfortable beds and pillows.

Vital items for future nights on beaches

1. BLANKETS (i cannot stress this enough)
2. Insect repellents (very crucial)
3. Mattresses and pillows (self explanatory)

I got back to Singapore right after and managed to attend Thulasi's 22nd at Pump Room. It was a great event, and we definitely let loose til the early morning. I didn't pack my camera for that night but these are from Thulasi's facebook. I feel obligated to show you how sexy my Tutu was that night!

Anyway, I left for Malaysia three days after the celebration due to the fact that the cousins from England were staying over at my weekend house. Had plenty of infantile, mindless fun and watched sick movies such as Don't mess with the Zohan and Semi-Pro. Evidently, I brought them shopping as well.

Another sneak peek of my house

Alright, I'm not THAT tall. Im on a higher ground.

He's ten and annoyingly cute.

Baby cousins I never knew I had. Why do infants and toddlers smell like puke anyway? Samantha texted me today all the way from her kampung, Brisbane, and informed me that she wants to name her kids Shalom and Shanti (typical indian names) hahaha, and I replied by saying that my cool adopted twins from Japan will be named Elliot and Juilet.

I'm such a good baby-namer. Like Nicole Richie's daughter, Harlow Winter Kate, I told Nicole to name her that over one of our daily phone conversations. haha, anyway, the cousins are gone. Back to the UK, back to their hood.

The younger one kept asking me to come visit them again, my dad has plans to go over there during 2012 so that he can watch the London Olympics 2012 live as well but that's four years from now so I shall play it by ear, I guess.

Alright, im going to enjoy the rest of my term break.

Ciao bitches.

Gangs Of New York. [Aug. 3rd, 2008|03:49 am]
[Current Mood |tired]

Five days after I wrote my previous entry mentioning that I am in happy place, comes the most obnoxious letter 'F' written on the top right hand corner of one of my pr assignment.

My first failure at something after like, two years. I used to be unfazed by a fail grade but things changed. I take my education quite seriously now and that 'F' was fucking mocking me in all its bright red glory. Gahh, thank God its only 20%. I need to keep reminding myself that I do have a little hope for my 80%.

The thing that really got to me was the content under 'other comments.' - could have done better, not university standard. I know its not personal since every failed assignment came with that comment. Its like a buy one and get something completely redundant free promotion.

You failed me and then state that I'm not good enough? I know this sounds cliche but yes, rub salt on the wound, kick me when I'm already down.

Dieeeee. Aiming for a pass for my pr module. Just hit the 50 mark and I will be bloody happy. I need to stop thinking about failing, I had a nightmare about it yesterday and I don't want to keep thinking about it throughout the duration of my school break.

I know she's a fictional character and everything but how does Samantha Jones from SATC does it? Owning a pr firm, having a fabulous lifestyle, active social life AND of course, the sex.

haha, if I ever go into pr..I will completely lose it. Can I just get the benefits of being a pr person sans the workload? A la Heidi Montag from The Hills SANS Spencer.

On a brighter note, the long awaited school break has begun, liberation! I am currently in the weekend house, the sister turned 19 yesterday and the family spent it shopping, birthday lunch at some eatery called Vivo, the inevitable buying of cake from Secret Recipe and of course the seafood birthday dinner.

No. 1: Everyone should try eating at Vivo. Its some american pizza and panini thingy and the food is amazing. Is there a Vivo outlet in Singapore?

No. 2: Everyone should try the white chocolate macademia cake from Secret Recipe.

I didn't really enjoy the seafood dinner because it was the sort of restaurant that showcase the live fishes and crabs. I cannot see my food alive. Even when I'm at home and I see my mom preparing live crabs for dinner, I won't touch it.

I don't need to see my food alive to guarantee its freshness. I trust you to serve me fresh food.

Alright, I shall end here and continue making full use of my liberty.

You never know what I might do with my new found freedom,

I might just go get a nose job or take up sky diving or something.

ciao.

ryan davis: airport. [Jul. 27th, 2008|11:45 pm]
[Current Mood |content]

A week from now and term two will officially come to an end. One other assignment and two tests before liberty take place. After the amount of assignments I went through, evidently I will be going away on vacation.

I'm just hoping that the break will be a month long, and not just a miserable two weeks.

My previous two weeks was spent catching up with old friends i.e. peici and lizann, finishing up on a 40% assignment and naturally, shopping. Now that the GSS is over, you should drop by the stores that are clearing up their old stocks.

I picked up this windbreaker from Zara at half price.
When it comes to shopping, patience is virtue.

My cousins from England are arriving soon, can't wait to see them actually.
It's been too long!

Even though they can be annoying, I'm pretty sure that they have grown up by now.

It would be great if I could visit England again but I still have term three and four, so most prolly after I have completed school.

The thrill of walking down Oxford Street and shopping at Selfridges,
I have to go back!

My prime regret out of life is not going to Paris even though I was two hours away.
I was sixteen and alone, Europe was going through their worst weather of all time,
and when I called my parents, they firmly said, no.

I shouldn't have told them that when I landed at Birmingham Airport, it was terrifying and bumpy and that I thought I was going to die.

Gahh, I do exaggerate quite a bit.

Never mind, I do believe that another opportunity will present itself and when it does,
I will grab it by its hand.

I have been meaning to say this for quite some time but I hesitated because I was quite certain that something unpleasant might come along, but so far all is good.

I am finally at a happy place.

Great relationship with the parents, focused on school, great set of friends and I know what I want out of life.

My life is going inexplicably well and I plan on keeping it that way.

There are times when certain things or people bring you down,
but don't dwell on the minor stuffs and move on.

If you fall, pick yourself up and keep on walking.
Strut your stuff.

ciao.
